My son is in need of help quickly. He has 9 days to respond to a summons for divorce. He is the non-biological father of a 3 1/2 year old boy that he's raised from birth. He is on the birth certificate and is the legal father. The mother has issues and is trying to take his son from him. My whole family accepted her into our lives, went through the pregnancy, and absolutely love this little boy with all our hearts. We has been a HUGE part of his life and now he hasn't seen any of us in a month. We have never gone that long without him. She has gone months without him, until now. She has removed him from his daycare and all his friends. We pray every day and every night that God will intervene and bring this little angel back to us. Unfortunately we also have to rely on attorneys. The local pro bono attys can't see my son until it's too late. We are in need of monetary gifts to help with legal fees. We have a very good attorney waiting to help us.  My son has to file a counter petition very soon or he'll lose his son. I pray that someone can please help us. NEED PLANE TICKETS TO GET BABIES HOME

Hello, I am in a desperate situation of sorts. I have full custody  of my children and my exhusband has them in another state over 2000 miles away.  The courts have provided me with two certified copies of the custody order and even contacted the state police where the children reside. The police have agreed to escort me to the house and retrieve the children, but I need to suply my airfare out and my airfare back with the two children for a grand total of just over 1600.00 and this does not include the rental car cost as they want me to drive to the precinct first and then to the home (escorted) and then to airport. I have the crime victims unit trying to help me but they state they are having an awful time getting through the red tape. It has been a year since I have had them and a year fight to get to this point. They are 6 and 7 years old.

I am not asking for anyone to give me cash, just buy the plane tickets. After such a battle, I cannot afford to loose my children now. I have researched prices and because it is last minute and no overnight stay (per reccondmendation of police) they are $400.00 each and i need one (1) one way out and three (3) one way back of 1 adult and two children. If anyone has skymiles, a voucher or rapid rewards they would like to donate please let me know ASAP. I have been told to get the children moved this week before he moves again and to not let him know I am coming....can anyone please help reunite me with my babies!!

  I'm Rick out of  Sothern California. Just Turned 28 and hate to say NEED HELP...I'm Single father who raised my 10 year old daughter on  my own since birth. Lost my Job back in November 2008. Ran out of money end of last month. Losing my place of living, truck and haven’t been able pay any bills, top that off going threw child custody again with child mother (mothers visitation started 21/2years ago) I have been getting screwed by the mother taking advantage of me and our daughter crating problem that gone overboard and accomplished  her goal to screw me and our child over as she mentions it to me.. Need some serious Financial help and support ASAP life is going down the drain for me and trying to hold on to my only family and love one i have (My child) end 2008 has been bad start of 2009 got worse then ever seems like middle of 2009 going to be homeless and loosing my child.

    I have been fighting unemployment since November and wont/haven’t seen any of my money  that I’ve contribute into. The $500 dollars a week that  i should be getting from CA unemployment  would be lots of help but they are giving me hard time since it’s the max and Ex-employer just going with the flow. I have made 3 appeals and havent got anything from the state.

    If any one can help with any Funds, Grants, Cash aid, Legal help, Gift card, or with just anything that you might think will help even counseling, Please do so.

    I have looked for work but now luck and these problems are big detraction over all (going crazy). there is a lot more issue pending with me that child mother has created and put me and my child into out of hate, anger, and revenge....just to see us at our worse.

I am looking for help with child custody, I am trying to regain custody of my daughter. The courts took her away from me and allowed her father to have custody after he moved out of state. The courts are on record stating the reason for this is is financial. I supported our daughter here in MI alone without support for 2 years prior.

Hi.  I am a newly seperate mom of 6 (4 at home, 2 in college) who is in desperate need of financial assistace.  My situation is a longggggg story, so I will try to condense it. 

I married an illegal alien (didnt know he was illegal until after our marriage).  I tried to get him legal, but with no luck.  We have been married for 5 years, and in May of this year, he walked out on us.  We have 2 children together, a boy age 3 and a girl age 18mths.  I was (and still) totally in love with him.  The break up is devestating.  But the worst part is that he spent $369,000 starting his business and buying expensive toys.  A Hummer H2, 2 motorcycles, xbox 360/ps2/psp/ipods, boats/waverunners, Motorhome, you name it.  I thought we were doing well.  Nope.  When he walked out he told me, he hadnt made any car payments in months and hadnt made a mortgage payment in 7 months.  Our cars have repossed, along with our motorhome.  Good riddens.  My home is being foreclosed next month.  I need to rebuild my life.  There are no jobs here.  I am well educated and trained, with tons of experience.  But there are just no jobs.  I am hoping to move to another state as soon as the courts will let me.  I am working hard to secure a job elsewhere and find housing.  However, I need to declare bankruptcy ... $1000, and finish my divorce.  My attorney thinks it will cost $10,000 to get through the divorce, since my husband has filed a fraudulent restraining order on me, so that he can steal the kids and run off to Mexico.  I am scared, alone, and don't want to be a victim.  I just don't know where to turn.  I have been to every organization that helps with food stamps, health care, financial assistance for heating, churches, etc.  I am hoping that during my RO contested hearing that I will be able to have the RO dropped and get supervised visitation orders for my husband.  I want him to see the kids, I just can't have him run with the kids to Mexico!  Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.  I am praying someone can help me. I need help with rent, food, clothing, attorney costs and moving expenses.

I need help with a court case. I am due to be in court again after New Years for child support, but I cannot afford an attorney.  I need to have $1500 for the second week of January to give to the courts to stay out of jail.  I need money to buy my son a Christmas Present.  I am not here begging.  I am willing to pay back the monies on a schedule.   I have been going through for four years in a custody case.  I am a Children's Minister.  I only see my son every other week for 11 hrs.  I can't take him home or on vacation.  I haven't spent a Christmas with him in 4 years, this will be the 5th.   My ex's family knows the judges and has manipulated me.  I am getting ready to hire an parent's right advocacy group, but I need immediate financial help.

Hello to any one reading this...

    My son has been missing for over a year... His aunt and her boyfriend filed a dishonestc laim against me and was awarded a temporary custody order through the Washington County Court system.  The details are far too long to be posted on this blog, after all, I came here on a random search of the world wide web, to find rental assistance for my sister...  I always wanted people to know how easy one can fall through a loophole in the system.  How the judge didn't investigate these two people when they made fradulant claims against me in an attempt to take custody of my son, and how when I proved that they lied in their clames,  the judge "didn't feel comfortablle signing me over legal, full, custody, without a proper trial," and instructed me to take it up with the courts in Montana.

 Upon finding out that they had taken this so called temporary custody order and moving to the state of Montana, with the help of my family, we called in amber alerts and the officials in both our own county and that of Columbia falls, MT.  My son's aunt and her boyfriend were investigated and my son was evaluted, the government proceeded to tell me that this wasn't conisidered a kidnap,  "this is a civil matter and you need to go to court."

This I would have done, had the two people in care of my son had not dropped off the face of the earth.  They stopped answering the phones, and then the line went dead.  And I tried to send things, but they just got sent back, with stickernotes from the post office saying there  was no one residing at that adress; the adress that they had filed with the courts in the middle of a custody battle.  To my knowledge they were under law supposed to file any new adresses or change of contact with the courts.  But I've checked, and theres no record in my own county of a change of adress, and no record of them at all in the city they were supposed to be residing in.  My son's bilogical father, sad to say, is worthless, and has only made this mess worse.  He now lives in a whole other state, with his new 1 year old son, and refuses to come back and face what he left behind, even though it took me a year just to find him!  I'm at a loss for words, thoughts, and everything else when it comes to my son: Johnathon Kekoa Kopono Pineda... 

When I asked for advice from these so called officials, they suggested I should call a private investigator, and a good attorney...it pretty much sounds like this to me; "go pay for a crime to be retributed that the government should be overseeing".

Sometimes I meet women who have lost their kids to foster care. And of course, they can relate.  But in the quiet, when I'm alone, I can't lie to myself.  I wish the state had taken him over is aunt and her boyfreind, at least then I would know he was safe, have visitation with him, and a fair chance, to get him home again.   I don't even know where he is!!!!!!  I need help, someone to hear my cry and guide me in the direction,  until then, I will continue this story...

Hello, my name is Barbara D. and I am in desperate need to save my daughter. The situation is that because I do not have the financial resource to fight a child custody with proper legal representation, my daughter contiunes to live with an abusive/negletful father. My child has already recieved a black eye at the age of 4 from her father, the court refuses to listen. My case has turned into such a mess, some of it due to the fact I was acting pro se. I have contacted many attorney(well over 100) to help me, but only results in them wanting to get paid. I have found an attorney who is willing to help me at the very least to get me off supervised visitations with my daughter. I was place on supervised visits without a hearing and a result of my reporting what I thought was best. To report to the court what had occurred to my daughter. I have never been accused or even alledge of neglect or harmful to my daughter. Please I am asking for help..... Should you have any questions I am willing to provide documents(proof) of all that I am saying...

First, let me say that I appreciate anything anyone can help me with.

I am a concerned father in Florida. My wife and I are going through a divorce and custody battle. My wife walked out and took my son 8 months ago. She left me for her own selfish reasons. She decided that she wanted to be single, but I later found out that she actually left me for another man who she now lives with. We have been going through a custody battle where we both want custody of our son. I am a firefighter/paramedic and live a good, clean life. I have a nice home and provide my son with everything he needs. She on the other hand, quits her jobs on a regular basis. Lives in a 1980 single wide dumpy trailer. Lives with a man and has several friends that she hangs out with. They are all into drugs and I am sure that she is now as well. She is not teaching my son to grow. He is only 14 months old and grows and learns so much when I have him. He gains weight with me and once he is back with her, he loses weight because she does not feed him properly. I pay child support current of $625 per month and she lives with a guy, but still cannot provide food for our son.

I have a lawyer, but am running out of money. I have pulled part of my retirement to fight her. She is using legal aid and has spent almost nothing to fight me. I have currently spent $8700 and my lawyer is wanting an additional $4000. I also need $1900 for a home evaluation. Iwas supposed to only have to pay half of the home evaluation, but her lawyer said she could not afford it so the court told me I would have to pay it if I wanted to continue with the case. I also need $1200 for a mental/psych evaluation for her and myself that is part of my case. She has been diagnosed with mental depression in the past and needs to be evaluated for the courts to make a judgement on that as well.

So, in total I am in need of $7100.  I know that is a lot of money, but my son and his welfar is worth every penny. He needs a safe, clean and healthy environment to grow. I can provide that for him where she has taken him into a very unhealthy environment. Please help me. Many thanks to everyone.
